More About the "Woke Film" Concept
Woke Film
Woke Film, a division of Handcraft Film based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, showcases our TV shows, films, and documentaries that recognize and promote diversity and inclusion. Our company was rebranded recently because we realized Hollywood and the world would be forever divided into "woke" and "non-woke" projects, ideologies, and actions.
As a media company, we decided to take a stand on the types of projects we would, and would not, create.
There are many "non-woke" production companies in Hollywood.
We decided to rebrand ours into a "woke media company," for the production of our TV shows, docs, and films.
"Woke" simply means you literally "woke up" to the dangers of limiting and denying the rights of others; based on race, religion, nationality, lifestyle, gender, or sexual identity and choice. "Non-woke" means the denial of these rights. We will ONLY feature projects that recognize these rights and refuse to promote any media projects or work with anyone who denies these rights to all.
We will showcase movies, TV shows, documentaries, and other media platforms to advance projects that protect the rights of those most vulnerable. See our various projects and website links below.
